Honey & Butter: SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

The Social Media Assistant works closely with the Event & Licensing Coordinator to create engaging content for Honey & Butter’s social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, & Tiktok. The Social Media Assistant keeps these channels consistently updated and brand-focused, to further grow the Company’s presence to a wider range of audience.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

minimum responsibilities

-Strong understanding of the following social media channels: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook. Must display proficiency using in-app applications and basic photo and video editing.

-Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with the ability to write across various platforms.

-Must be present for all Honey & Butter Events (will include some Saturdays) to take photos, record, and document content for social media.

-Must be up to date and aware of popular social media trends and utilize this knowledge to foster the growth of our social channels & brand.

-Communicate & work with Event Coordinator and Managers to create social campaigns and schedule posts in accordance with events & creature crafting.

-Present ideas for growth and improvement of social channels/brand marketing to Managers.

-Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a professional setting.

-Prior experience in Social Media Marketing preferred; but not required. You will be considered based on your knowledge and ability to perform your duties.

Honey & Butter: Macaron Piper

The macaron piper efficiently pipes all macaron batter while maintaining production of the highest quality macarons.  

Minimum Responsibilities

DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS

  • Maintains production of macarons based on daily demand by piping all macaron batter

  • Ensures case is stocked with all flavors every morning and back up inventory is ready to meet business demand

  • Maintains production standards and recipes are followed 100% of the time tastes profiles are appropriate

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary environment

  • Ensures that ingredients are in stock and ready to meet business demand

  • Ensures safety procedures are followed

TEAMWORK

  • Encourages teamwork and leads by example by being a good team player

  • Follows daily objectives and holds oneself accountable for achieving those objectives

  • Works in an organized & deliberate manner

  • Problem solving: objectively and calmly solves issues by identifying the problem and work towards a solution

  • Works at a fast pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work in both front-of house & back-of-house as needed

  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs

  • Must have reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Continuous piping of macaron batter

  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

CERTIFICATIONS

  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification

COMPENSATION

$17/hr starting.  Room to grow after the first month of employment with the Company after a formal evaluation.

FRONT OF THE HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Honey & Butter is looking for a dependable customer service candidate who seeks a long-term, stable position and growth with the Company.

MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS

- easily initiates a conversation with customers

-engages the customer's interests in the product and the brand

- follows all Health Department Codes and regulations

- maintains & keeps work areas clean

- helps with simple kitchen preparation tasks

-possesses good working pace & good sense of urgency

-thrives in a fast-paced & busy work environment

-OPEN AVAILABILITY (can commit at least 32 hours per week). Must be able to work weekends, holidays, & closing/opening shifts as needed.

- possesses kindness, confidence, honesty, & friendliness.

-works well in a team environment

-1-year experience in the customer service field (food preferred)

The starting pay is $16/hr + tips. After a month of continuous work, we will evaluate your performance and discuss a pay raise.

Wearing a face covering is required while working - we take great measures to protect our team members and our customers.
